A Rock & A Hard Place

For the love of YA fiction.
Day Two: Least Favourite Book
I don’t have a least favourite book. There have been books that I’ve read that didn’t interest me, but there isn’t one book in particular that I can say is my least favourite book. With that being said, if I had to choose a book for Day Two, it would be The Darkest Powers Trilogy by Kelley Armstrong. I don’t know if it’s fitting to put these three books in this category, because I’ve only managed to finish the first book, and I stopped somewhere in the middle of the second, but it was the first book that came to mind. I feel kind of bad putting a book in this category, like I’m hurting it’s feelings or something lol but the reason I chose this trilogy was because I haven’t been interested enough to finish it. There have been books that I didn’t connect with, but I finished them just to finish them. But I haven’t been able to do the same with these books. My mom bought this book for me a couple of Christmases ago and I’d never heard of them before, but she said she’d heard good things about them, so I thought I’d give them a shot. I finished the first one, but it didn’t leave me wanting more. I started the second book but lost interest and moved onto something else and just never picked it up again. I guess that’s why I chose this series, because there was nothing in these books that made me want to finish them. I’ll probably pick this book up again and give it another shot, because I have heard good things about this trilogy. Every book deserves a second chance I guess lol
